How TDG Works:

TDG works on the development of Africa, zooming in on economically viable and sustainable business. Chain development through improvement or establishing new connections in existing value chains has the priority, with strong focus on food crop production and processing.

Partnerships are established with local entrepreneurs, industrial business is build with agro production to ensure supplies of raw material.

After processing, the finished products are either marketed for local or sub-regional consumption or exported to a TDI subsidiary for further marketing in the international value chain.

Investments:

TDG investments are product driven with priority on cashew processing and macadamia growing and processing. However, other food crops are worked with as well; Tea, Edible and Non Edible Oils; Water; Sheanuts and Sheanut products; Palm kernels and Palm Oils.

Main drivers for partnerships are :

* Product fits priority of TDG.

* Local partner has existing network and has (field) experience of operations.

* Acknowledgement of need to grow & process food products.
